Christina Aguilera filled for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman last month on the grounds of "irreconcilable differences."
We’re not sure what this means but we suspect it might have been to do with the change of musical direction between her last two albums - the last one, Bionic was rubbish.
The 29-year-old star recently admitted she was looking for a change before she parted ways with Jordan.
She explained: "My life is cyclical. I'm not a nine-to-five woman who has the same kind of lifestyle for years on end. I couldn't do it. I need the spontaneity, that thrill of change. That's part of how I get inspired."
It must be the season for this sort of thing. Courtney Cox and David Arquette are ‘on a break’, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively have split up and even Peaches Geldof and Ely Roth have ended things.
There must be something in the water, or maybe they just want to avoid having to buy each other Christmas presents. Either way, we are sad.
